About the role
The Country Club at Woodmore is seeking attentive, professional, and personable servers to join their Food & Beverage team. This is more than just a serving job — it’s about building relationships, anticipating needs, and elevating every moment for members and guests.
What You’ll Do
- Provide warm, personalized service to members and guests in dining rooms, patios, and event spaces.
- Anticipate needs and exceed expectations with grace, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure timely, accurate service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness in your work area.
- Follow all health, safety, and club standards and protocols.
- Support a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and pride in the club.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred.
- A genuine desire to serve others and create memorable experiences.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and work well in a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer literacy.

About Country Club at Woodmoore
The Country Club at Woodmore began its storied history in 1923 as Beaver Dam Golf and Country Club on Landover Road. It was renamed Prince George's Country Club in 1941 and hosted several championship events, including the National Capital Open in 1947 and 1948. In 1979, the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission purchased the golf course and facilities, and the Club moved to its current location at the corner of Enterprise and Woodmore Roads in Mitchellville, Maryland. The new course, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, opened in 1981 and is now operated by Concert Golf Partners. Members enjoy both golf and a variety of amenities, including a full-size and kiddie pool, three tennis courts, indoor and outdoor dining options, and a year-round social calendar of events.
