About the role
The Legacy at North Augusta is a vibrant, resident-centered community where every meal is an opportunity to brighten someone’s day. As a Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests warmly and professionally
- Take accurate meal orders and deliver food and beverages promptly
- Aid residents with menu selections and accommodate special dietary needs or requests
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and organized before and after meals
- Clear tables, remove used dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and dietary restrictions
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus, but not necessary—we’ll provide training for the right candidate!
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional service
- An attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
