Overview

Salary Range: $16.90 - $16.90 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Santa Cruz Mountains

Key Job Accountabilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and provide a memorable visit through provision of exceptional service (friendly, safe, efficient, thorough, ministry minded).
• Consistently respectful and professional in all aspects of the position.
• Work well with co-workers, guests, and other MHA staff; display a team oriented mindset and attitude.
• Follow specific instructions from the directing supervisor, staying on task at all times.
• Multi-task while maintaining great attention to detail in order to achieve a high level of accuracy.
• Perform preparation, cleanup, and reset duties to prepare for meal service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications/Licenses: One year of High School preferred.
• Work Experience: None required.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Ability to take directions and complete tasks as assigned.
  Ability to work well with co-workers, supervisors, guests, and other MHA staff.
  Ability to work and interact positively with a large variety of people.
  Ability to effectively and efficiently self-manage and stay on task.
  Ability to multi-task.
  Ability to be flexible and adjust as needs and priorities change.
  Ability to be a team player.
  Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  Ability to abide by safe service practices.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• Ability to walk and be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.
• Work primarily indoors with occasional shifts worked outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work most major holidays with the exception of Christmas.
• Prioritize weekday and weekend availability.
• Adhere to the basic principles as expressed in Mount Hermon’s Mission, Vision, Values and Commitment statements.
• Able to arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must agree to and comply with Mount Hermon’s employee driving guidelines for Mount Hermon owned vehicles and personal vehicles for business purposes.
