About the role

Dining Servers at Life Enriching Communities provide exceptional everyday experiences for both residents and guests. They serve meals in a welcoming and respectful manner, ensuring that residents and guests have a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in their rooms and dining areas with warmth, accuracy, and respect for individual dietary needs.
• Set up trays and dining areas; distribute and collect menus with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Restock supplies and prepare for each meal service to ensure a smooth and welcoming dining experience.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks, wash dishes, and monitor food and equipment temperatures to keep dining and service areas clean, safe, and inviting.
• Deliver food from the Main Kitchen with care, ensuring presentation and quality.
• Create a positive and responsive dining experience for residents and guests.
• Understand and implement departmental standards for service and safety.
• Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Assist with dining room setup, cleanliness, and resetting tables between meal services.
• Maintain awareness of resident needs and requests.

Requirements

• Some high school education preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.

Schedule

This role is part-time, working 20-29 hours per week, primarily evenings.
