Dining Room Supervisor

About the Role

Vi at Grayhawk is located at 7501 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. A desirable opportunity exists for an accomplished professional to supervise the daily operations of the dining room and café, including staffing, scheduling, assigning, and checking all side work. The selected candidate will have significant responsibility for training staff and ensuring an efficient, friendly, and timely meal service is delivered to residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the dining room and café.
• Handle staffing, scheduling, and assignment of tasks.
• Check all side work to ensure completion.
• Train staff to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure efficient, friendly, and timely meal service for residents and guests.

Requirements

• 3 years of previous experience in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, country club, or senior living company.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.
• Ability to supervise, hire, train, and create a high-performing team.
• Systems orientation with basic Microsoft Office skills and experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
• Complete knowledge of all current service styles and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a friendly and energetic demeanor; ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Pay

USD $24.09 - USD $30.11 per hour.
