Dining Room Half-Buyout
About the Venue
The main dining area at Colibri Mexican Bistro features rich, dark-stained wood high-backed booths and a mahogany bar, accented by golden-rust walls and a vast collection of decorative tequila bottles, all softly illuminated by warm ambient lighting, with occasional screenings of classic black-and-white Latino films. Visually reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century cantina, the space fosters an intimate, energetic vibe and comfortably seats up to 65 guests while accommodating cocktail receptions standing up to 90 people.
Culinarily
The kitchen blends authentic family recipes from Central Mexico, such as mole poblano, ceviche, and chiles rellenos, with modern influences from Aztec, Mayan, French, and Spanish traditions. Executive Chef Edgar Castro, trained in both Mexican and Bay Area kitchens, crafts seasonal dishes like lamb shank wrapped in banana leaf, huitlacoche stuffed chicken, quesabirria, as well as indoor fresh guacamole and estofado vegetable sides.
Private Events
Private event guests can enjoy full service catering either on site or at alternative venues, including handcrafted cocktails and a full mezcal and tequila bar. The outdoor heated patio is pet friendly and perfect for evening gatherings, enhanced by live music on select weekdays.
