Experience, Qualifications & Skills

• Basic knowledge of various kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Maintains current food handler’s card required.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Relates positively and communicates appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees.
• Has compassion and a special interest in working with the senior population.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime, to meet the requirements of the position.
• Pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• Able to work independently (with minimum supervision).

Physical Demands

• Sit and talk or hear.
• Use hand to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Stand and walk.
• Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Pay

Competitive Compensation Program - Actual pay rate will be calculated based on relevant years of experience and education/certification requirements.

Shift differential for night shift employees.

Bonus Shift coverage bonus offered as needed.

Extra Benefits Sick time accrues at 0.025 hours for every hour worked, available for use after 90-days.

Traditional and Roth 401(k) after 12 months and 1000 hours worked, semi-annual enrollment, with annual employer discretionary contribution.
