About the Hotel
The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is the social hub for great food, fun, and nightlife, serving as the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys. This 16-story hotel features 300 guest rooms and suites, along with 24,000 square feet of versatile meeting spaces, including grand ballrooms, intimate spaces, and an elevated pool deck. Located on a multi-use campus in partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, the city of Frisco, and Frisco Independent School District, the hotel offers restaurants, retail, entertainment venues, and direct access to The Ford Center, a 12,000-seat event center. The campus is anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility.
Situated 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas and 25 minutes from DFW International and Love Field Airport, the hotel provides amenities such as Neighborhood Services restaurant, the Charlotte Jones Collection boutique, a lobby coffee and wine bar, and The Edge pool bar and grill overlooking the 91-acre entertainment district, The Star.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ownership in tasks to uphold Service Standards and create lifelong guests.
- Multitask efficiently while serving multiple guest needs in an organized manner.
- Maintain awareness of safety precautions and procedures for guests and staff.
- Ensure products are fresh and of quality.
- Clear tables of dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and linen, then reset for new guests.
- Transport food items from the kitchen to the dining room promptly while adhering to service standards.
- Clean and maintain a hygienic and organized work area.
- Complete all closing duties as required.
- Perform additional tasks as needed or directed.
Requirements
- Past experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Capability to stand and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must possess TABC and Food Handler’s Permit.
- Available to work flexible shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
