    • About the role

    Join Pelican Valley Senior Living (PVSL) and help us create meaningful impact! As a Dining Assistant you’ll provide outstanding dining service to residents and guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable mealtime experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide exceptional dining service to residents and guests
    • Aid in meal selections and assist with seating
    • Ensure safety and sanitation by setting and clearing tables, arranging seating, and maintaining cleanliness
    • Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas
    • Maintain dining and kitchen areas through cleaning tasks while adhering to safety and infection control procedures
    • Communicate effectively with residents and team members
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
    • Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required
    • Ability to follow emergency protocols
    • Proficient in English for effective communication

    Qualifications

    • Successful completion of a state-mandated background check
