Digital Video Editing Teacher (Part Time, In-person))

General Responsibilities

• Mets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
• Plans and facilitates learning sessions
• Aids students in developing a variety of digital video editing skills
• Maintains consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development
• Models appropriate academic and social behaviors
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Works effectively with students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels
• Possesses good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrates responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility
• Shows knowledge and ability to demonstrate skill in digital arts
• Develops unit and lesson plans that align with content curriculum standards
• Captures and analyzes data to inform future instruction
• Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills independently
• Instructs students across varying skill and experience levels using different digital video editing programs

Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor's degree
• Must have teaching and/or tutoring experience
• Must have extensive digital arts experience
