General Responsibilities
- Mets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
- Plans and facilitates learning sessions
- Aids students in developing a variety of digital video editing skills
- Maintains consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development
- Models appropriate academic and social behaviors
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Works effectively with students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels
- Possesses good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrates responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility
- Shows knowledge and ability to demonstrate skill in digital arts
- Develops unit and lesson plans that align with content curriculum standards
- Captures and analyzes data to inform future instruction
- Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills independently
- Instructs students across varying skill and experience levels using different digital video editing programs
Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor's degree
- Must have teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Must have extensive digital arts experience
