Digital Threat Modeling Engineer, Lead
About the role
The Digital Threat Modeling Engineer, Lead role combines technical skills with strategic thinking to deliver solutions that enhance national security. You'll architect and lead the transformation of missile and Command and Control (C2) systems, ensuring they meet real-world needs and evolve with advanced technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead MBSE architecture efforts in DoD or IC environments
- Develop and maintain digital models using SysML, DoDAF, or UAF
- Model and simulate advanced threats across missile and C2 systems
- Coordinate across multiple government agencies and locations
- Evolve systems with advanced technology solutions
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
- Merge modeling, simulation, and analysis with systems engineering
Requirements
- Experience leading MBSE architecture efforts in DoD or IC environments
- Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), DoDAF, or UAF
- Ability to coordinate across multiple government agencies and locations
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with systems engineering
- Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience with systems engineering
- Doctorate degree and 6+ years of experience with systems engineering
- 16+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree
Skills
- Experience supporting Ballistic Missile Defense, foreign threat systems, or C2 analysis
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, RMSiS, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, MathWorks, CATIA, Simulink, STK, Jira, Confluence, UAF, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with digital engineering governance and data compliance in the IC or DoD
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving adoption of modern systems engineering practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills, including engaging with senior government customers and engineering teams

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Work may be performed remotely, in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility, or at a customer facility, depending on the role.
