The Digital Skills Development Specialist (AI)

The Digital Skills Development Specialist (AI) is responsible for the design and delivery of high quality and effective in-person, online and blended learning and assessment that enhance digital skills capability at all levels of the University.

Responsibilities

• Manage AI-related learning projects within Talent Development, providing specialist digital skills training and resources to deliver a range of innovative digital development to colleagues.
• Oversee the full training lifecycle from training needs, design, delivery and evaluation.
• Work closely with Systems & Digital Skills Manager, the wider team and institutional partners to ensure the effective implementation of the AI Digitals Skills Framework and interventions across the organization.
• Design and develop evaluation processes and mechanisms within the learning approach, in order to assess the effectiveness of learning materials, workshops and programs, and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
• Work closely with the wider People Directorate, ITS Directorate and the Digital Learning Service to proactively promote the use and engagement with external self-development platforms, such as LinkedIn Learning, ensuring appropriate communication methodologies are used to engage University staff and using evaluation data to continuously improve the development offer in line with changing technologies and organizational goals.

Pay

£37,694 - £46,049 per annum, depending on relevant experience
