Digital Product Manager, III
Job Description
Contributes to the product lifecycle of information technology solutions that improve experiences for patients, clinicians, and operations. Collaborates with data scientists, engineers, designers, and clinical or business stakeholders to shape requirements, inform the roadmap, and help bring concepts to market. Support product leadership by translating ideas into actionable steps, coordinating across cross-functional teams, and ensuring that delivery aligns with established goals. Enable innovation at the point of care, surface opportunities for improvement, and work with partners to refine and optimize products that deliver clinical, operational, and financial value.
Education
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Experience
- Deep experience with Epic clinical tools - either as a builder or power user
- Digital health, RPM, care delivery outside traditional pathways
- Working with project, design, development, Epic EHR, and behavioral science
- Nice to have: Experience working with Figma, Jira
- Experience working directly with clinicians and clinical teams
Skills And Knowledge
- Experience with creating product roadmaps, backlog management, agile methodologies, and translating business needs into technical requirements in a healthcare environment
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows, EHR systems (e.g., Epic), clinical operations, regulatory considerations, and patient engagement tools
- Experience working closely with technical teams, including engineers and data specialists
- Ability to balance tradeoffs across user experience, data availability, technical feasibility, and business constraints
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and prioritization skills
- Capable of presenting complex ideas clearly to diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience interpreting data, creating KPIs, and making evidence-based decisions to guide product direction
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle
- Aptitude for working both independently and collaboratively in team settings
- Familiarity with tools like Python, SQL, and data analysis frameworks is a plus

Pay Range
$159,723.20 to $239,595.20 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
