Digital Print Production Operator

About the role

We're hiring a Digital Print Production Operator on a part-time basis to start, with a real opportunity to move into a full-time role as you grow with us. This hands-on position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, curious, and ready to build a lasting career in print. You'll work with digital printers to produce a variety of materials, including large-format work like banners, signs, and vehicle graphics, with the chance to learn installation in the future. The role is based at our Bloomington office, with potential hours at our Apple Valley location, so flexibility to work at both is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cut-sheet digital printers to produce color and black-and-white jobs accurately and efficiently.
• Proof every job against the work order before production and perform quality checks to minimize waste and rework.
• Calibrate printers and match colors precisely to client Pantone specs, ensuring consistency across each run.
• Produce large-format work, including banners, signs, decals, vehicle graphics, and wall murals, with the opportunity to learn installation.
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, maintenance, and coordination with service technicians.
• Track job status, materials, and inventory in our production system to keep the team informed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Requirements

• Experience or background in print or a production environment is a plus and will help you get up to speed quickly.
• A sharp eye for detail and color, with a commitment to getting things right the first time.
• Ability to juggle multiple jobs and stay organized under deadlines.
• A reliable, team-first attitude—you show up, follow through, and support your colleagues.
• Willingness to work at both our Bloomington and Apple Valley locations, with reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills; you’ll learn our print software (Fiery Command Workstation) on the job.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Fiery/Command Workstation, file imposition, or bindery.
• Graphic design skills.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$19–$23/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Part-time to start—20+ hours/week, Monday–Friday. No nights or weekends. Real potential to grow into a full-time role.
