Digital Print Apprentice

Role and Responsibilities

• Learn to operate various machines within the digital printing department.
• Work closely with Lead Digital Printer to meet schedules, handle graphic files, and ensure quality of work.
• Work with members of the department to print high-quality graphics for various visual communication products.
• Set up and run fabric through the wash line.
• Start up and understand the operation of a loop steamer.
• Maintain color matching, manage spare parts, and handle raw materials.
• Work with members of the department to learn and print high-quality graphics.
• Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely completion of production schedules.
• Perform assigned tasks within the workflow to produce a product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Meet quality standards at all times for all projects and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Load large rolls of paper and fabrics.
• Stack and organize fabric and material.
• Perform general room cleaning and maintenance responsibilities.
• Communicate professionally within the organization with colleagues in Printing, Graphics, and Operations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
• Fluency in speaking and reading English.
