Responsibilities
- Provides strategic leadership to define how digital supports top-of-pyramid fundraising engagement
- Translates fundraising strategies for high-value benefactors into a clear experience model, including key moments, engagement pathways, and interaction expectations across the benefactor lifecycle
- Owns strategy for high-value benefactor engagement and leads cross-channel orchestration across web and content platforms, journey and lifecycle engagement capabilities, and personalized outreach channels
- Establishes and applies digital experience principles (e.g., trust, clarity, relevance, accessibility, and privacy-minded personalization), along with scalable personalization approaches, journey frameworks, and shared standards that enable consistent execution across platforms and teams
- Ensures alignment across the digital ecosystem by partnering with fundraising, analytics, data/CRM, brand, content, and operations to define governance, prioritize initiatives, and reduce fragmentation
- Leverages data, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to inform decision-making and optimize engagement strategies
- Applies systems thinking to integrate efforts across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Leads through influence, building alignment and consensus across a matrixed organization
- Defines the experience model and guardrails that guide execution; not responsible for building net-new product features
- Communicates with clarity and credibility to stakeholders and senior leaders while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose
- Operates as an individual contributor and strategic integrator across Development and the broader digital ecosystem
- Works closely with fundraising professionals, analytics, data/CRM, marketing, brand, content, and operations teams, as well as physician leaders, administrators, and external partners
- Serves as a key connector across functions to align priorities, establish governance, and enable a cohesive, benefactor-centered digital experience for high-value audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, which may include liberal arts, business, communications, marketing, health care, or similar field
- 7 years professional experience in philanthropy, marketing, or communications
- Proven ability to develop and execute digital strategies aligned to business and fundraising objectives
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Demonstrated servant leadership mindset with experience guiding cross-functional work
- Experience with enterprise digital platforms and cross-channel engagement
- Experience using data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with positive influence
- Occasional travel required
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Pay
$116,000 - $168,200 / year
Schedule
- Full Time
- 80 hours per pay period
- Monday - Friday, normal business hours
- Evenings and weekends based on business need
- Weekend schedule: As needed
