Digital & Motion Designer
About The Role
We are seeking a talented Digital & Motion Designer to join our Performance Creative team. Reporting directly to the Director of Creative Operations & Production, this role is integral to conceptualizing, designing, animating, and producing high-performing digital creative assets. The ideal candidate will transform creative strategies into compelling visual content across multiple digital platforms, including social media, search, and e-commerce channels. This position emphasizes the development of both static and motion assets that enhance campaign performance while maintaining brand consistency.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Creative Strategists, Account Managers, and Performance Leads to ensure that creative outputs align with strategic objectives and audience engagement goals. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a passion for the craft of digital design and motion graphics. They will be detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive in optimizing creative assets based on performance insights.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in digital, graphic, or motion design, with a focus on performance marketing preferred
- 2+ years of experience working in an agency, client-facing, or fast-paced creative environment
- Strong digital design, motion graphics, and performance-driven creative portfolio (please include a link with your application)
- Proven experience conceptualizing, designing, and producing paid digital creative across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Search, Amazon, and other digital channels
- Exceptional visual design, typography, layout, and motion design skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Slides and/or PowerPoint for presentation design
- Excellent organization, project management, and multitasking skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing creative guidance and feedback
- Willingness to learn emerging creative technologies and AI-powered design tools
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with 3D design tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D
- Understanding of paid social and digital advertising formats, platform specifications, and best practices
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems, brand guidelines, and reusable templates
- Knowledge of creative testing methodologies and performance optimization techniques
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-performing static and motion creative assets for paid digital campaigns across platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Search, and emerging channels
- Partner with Creative Strategists, Performance Creative Leads, Designers, Account teams, and stakeholders to translate creative strategies into compelling visual assets that drive performance
- Develop creative concepts, establish visual direction, and present work to clients, incorporating feedback to refine assets
- Create pixel-perfect assets ensuring consistency, quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines and platform specifications
- Adapt, resize, and optimize creative assets for various formats, placements, and channels without compromising creative integrity
- Support creative testing initiatives by producing asset variations based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback
- Maintain and develop brand guidelines, design systems, templates, and reusable resources to ensure consistency and scalability across campaigns
- Provide creative feedback, quality assurance, and production guidance to internal teams and external partners, proactively identifying and resolving creative or production challenges
- Improve creative workflows by developing best practices, documentation, and training resources while continuously enhancing personal skills
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform innovations, and emerging AI tools to incorporate into creative workflows
- Lead larger-scale creative initiatives and full-funnel campaigns to support client objectives and business growth
