Digital Merchandiser
About the role
The Digital Merchandiser at Paper Source is responsible for executing merchandising efforts on the eCommerce platform. They collaborate with various teams to achieve high-level performance and optimize the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement and advise on onsite merchandising for covered product lines to drive revenue, margin, and performance goals.
- Partner with Merchandise Strategy and Category Management teams to ensure site/device merchandising aligns with product priorities.
- Ensure product pages are optimized for the best customer experience to help drive conversion and build the basket.
- Respond to sudden changes in the business and its trends as needed to maintain the best customer experience onsite and on device with regard to covered product lines.
- General merchandising maintenance of web pages, merchandising lists, promotions, and collection pages on the website.
- Use analytics to understand digital customer behavior and implement changes accordingly.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Must be highly motivated and organized with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs, as well as Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of book product lines is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time job based out of our Chicago Wicker Park office.
