About the role
The Digital Merchandise Senior Specialist reports to the Digital Merchandise Manager/Director and is responsible for driving key analytics and strategic insights to leadership and key partners. The primary focus is on driving ecommerce sales, profit, and conversion while improving overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer and business insights to develop and implement .com merchandise strategies to drive sales in partnership with merchant and marketing teams.
- Partner with merchants, vendors, and offshore teams to improve product page quality through specific enhancements of images, copy, knowledge assistants, and reviews.
- Research industry trends and provide competitive analysis to identify white space and opportunities online.
- Identify assortment opportunities and drive expanded assortment growth on jcp.com.
- Optimize navigation, customer journey, and merchandise onsite to improve conversion.
- Leverage customer analytics tools to improve customer experience and key metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, add to bag, and bag abandonment) by engaging in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly recaps.
- Execute a high volume of category and company-wide events across the customer journey with high attention to detail and excellence.
- Curate and maintain links for all content including emails, homepage, and onsite creative content.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Ecommerce or Retail, with a minimum of 1-3 years in site merchandising preferred.

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in web-based analytics tools.
- Dynamic, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
Pay
USD $57,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 per year.
