Digital Marketing Specialist - Analytics
About the role
The Digital Marketing Specialist leads the planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, and conversions. Serving as FAME's primary resource for digital advertising, marketing analytics, campaign performance measurement, and digital marketing technology, this position helps ensure marketing investments deliver measurable results and support organizational priorities.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing Strategy, communications team members, content creators, and external partners, the specialist monitors performance across paid, earned, and owned digital channels, translates data into actionable insights, and recommends strategies to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and return on investment. The position also oversees website performance, search visibility, user experience, and digital customer journeys to ensure FAME's websites support marketing objectives and provide effective customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and optimize paid marketing campaigns across search, display, video, social media, and other digital channels.
- Manage campaign budgets and evaluate performance against established goals and key performance indicators.
- Monitor audience targeting, engagement, lead generation, conversion, and return on investment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct A/B testing and campaign optimization initiatives to improve performance and effectiveness.
- Research emerging platforms, advertising technologies, audience trends, and best practices and recommend adoption when appropriate.
- Coordinate campaign implementation with agencies, consultants, media partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as FAME's lead digital marketing analytics resource, establishing and monitoring KPIs aligned with marketing and organizational goals.
- Analyze website, advertising, social media, email, CRM, and campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and performance tracking tools for leadership and stakeholders.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
- Partner with the Director of Marketing Strategy to evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform strategic decision making.
- Support implementation and ongoing optimization of marketing technologies, CRM tools, customer journey tracking, automation platforms, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Establish reporting methodologies and attribution practices that improve understanding of campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee website performance, user experience, search visibility, accessibility, and conversion effectiveness across FAME's digital properties.
- Monitor website analytics and customer behavior to identify and prioritize enhancements and improvements.
- Coordinate website updates, maintenance activities, content implementation, testing, and vendor-supported enhancements.
- Conduct SEO and AIO audits and implement best practices to improve discoverability and customer experience.
- Ensure websites remain accurate, accessible, secure, customer-focused, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, website enhancements, platform integrations, and technology-related projects from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate project timelines, requirements, testing, vendor relationships, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support related to digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, campaign deployment, and digital best practices.
- Stay current with website and digital marketing trends, tools, and emerging relevant practices.
- Maintain procedures, documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for digital marketing systems and processes.
- Support agency as primary webmaster.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree required, preferably in communications, marketing, business or related field (or an appropriate combination of education and work experience).
- Three to five years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing.
- Digital marketing certification is preferred.
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization, A/B testing, and campaign performance analysis.
- Familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and attribution models.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills with significant experience in the application of digital media tools (such as WordPress, Salesforce and Marketing Cloud) and analysis (Google Analytics and others), and fundamental text editing capability in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Acrobat, InDesign).
- Continuously maintains up-to-date digital and social media marketing skills (website design, user experience, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud).
- Digital design skills a plus, but the ability to manage designers to meet brand standards and work with template designs is required otherwise.
- Highly organized, motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, but very well on a team.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Looker Studio and tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager preferred.

Pay
Annual salary range of $58,000–$65,000.
Schedule
Primarily based in the Augusta office, with the ability to work remotely after initial training and orientation.
