Digital Marketing & Client Development Intern

About the role

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate and interested in the arts/larger creative arena or is eager to learn. What you’ll do

• Assist the Client Development team in entering information into the database, extracting information from the database, updating existing records with the most accurate information, and creating new records.
• Conduct research through print & digital publications and social media outlets, and collaborate on data & reporting, to help support the Sales Team.
• Utilize various technological platforms to help process inbound messages to the gallery.
• Help liaise with the global team of gallery assistants to ensure continuous inbox coverage and best practices.
• Join weekly meetings and engage with a broad range of Marketing, Client Development, Digital, and Sales team members.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and department needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable and capable of working with large amounts of data
• The ability to multitask, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to exercise diligence and discretion, be extremely organized, and possess a strong sense of time management
• A genuine interest in contemporary art and David Zwirner’s program; one previous art industry internship preferred

Pay

All interns are paid NYC minimum wage of $17/hour.

Schedule

This position is 4 days a week, Monday through Friday, 10AM – 6PM (days of week to be determined), and the occasional need for remote weekend work.
