DIGITAL MARKETING ASSISTANT

Department: Web/Marketing    Reports To: Marketing Manager

About the role

Develops, writes, and publishes digital marketing materials across all digital channels. Works on and sends periodic email newsletter content. Creates, captures, and publishes engaging content for web and social platforms. Handles product photography for the web.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and innovative visual marketing materials and social campaigns to engage BMW owners and enthusiasts, acquire new and repeat customers, and increase sales volume while expressing BimmerWorld’s marketing and advertising objectives. Includes digital campaigns, print advertising, apparel, and other visual media.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Web departments to ensure each email piece aligns with the approval and input of relevant departments.
• Produce merchandising imagery to convey calls to action and promotional goals, including a “set” of standard web-ready merchandising graphics for each promotion.
• Provide decisions and advice to uphold and increase BimmerWorld’s established high-value brand image.
• Maintain proper brand voice and messaging across all social and marketing platforms.
• Manage email campaigns sent to BimmerWorld-owned email lists, including:
  • Sending semi-monthly or weekly direct email campaigns reflecting the company’s promoted monthly offers, specials, and latest newsworthy items.
  • Maintaining circulation, scheduling, and distribution of email campaigns.
  • Improving list management and expanding into more targeted audiences within the existing mailing list (currently tens of thousands of recipients).
• Capture content (photo/video) at BimmerWorld HQ for social and marketing use. Self-driven to seek out media and content ideas.
• Formulate media plans, storyboards, shot lists, etc., and see projects through to completion as deliverable finished products.
• Work directly with the Marketing Manager for input on art direction for specific projects as needed.
• Provide marketing assistance for BimmerWorld’s sister companies: Lifeline USA and Powerflex USA, including:
  • Establishing new initiatives and support to expand brand awareness and sales for both North American-exclusive product lines.
• Produce product photography to populate the BimmerWorld website and keep images up to date.
• Collaborate on marketing efforts with associated vendors (print/online).
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for photo and video editing.
• Knowledge and experience using a DSLR camera for photo and video.
