Digital Marketing and Content Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing and Content Manager leads the creation, execution, and optimization of the organization's digital presence, serving as both a strategic marketer and a master visual storyteller. This role combines high-level digital marketing expertise with advanced videography and content production skills to strengthen the Girl Scout brand, grow audiences, drive engagement, and communicate compelling stories that showcase the impact of Girl Scouts across North Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that support recruitment, retention, fundraising, program participation, and brand awareness goals.
Lead the organization's social media strategy across all digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging, audience engagement, and brand alignment.
Lead annual digital campaign planning, content strategy, and audience engagement initiatives that advance organizational goals and strengthen brand visibility.
Serve as a steward of the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council brand by ensuring visual, verbal, and digital brand consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
Identify emerging trends, platforms, and opportunities to increase visibility and audience growth.
Collaborate across departments to support organizational priorities through integrated digital campaigns.
Serve as the organization's lead videographer and visual storyteller.
Plan, shoot, edit, and produce professional video content for recruitment campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events, community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and organizational storytelling.
Create polished, story-driven content utilizing advanced editing techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, music integration, motion graphics, and narrative sequencing.
Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
Produce content for multiple channels, including websites, presentations, email marketing, social media, events, and donor communications.
Manage day-to-day operations of all social media channels, including content creation, publishing, audience engagement, and community management.
Create compelling multimedia content, including videos, photography, graphics, and written storytelling.
Stay on top of trending content relevant to Girl Scouts.
Develop platform-specific content strategies that increase engagement, reach, and follower growth.
Oversee content performance and adjust strategies based on analytics and audience insights.
Track and analyze website, social media, video, and email performance metrics.
Translate data into actionable recommendations and campaign improvements.
Prepare and produce reports highlighting trends, opportunities, and return on investment.
Lead and mentor members of the Girl Media Team, guiding digital storytelling, content creation, interviewing, photography, and video production skills.
Foster creativity while empowering girls to share their own voices through digital media.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Film Production, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in communications, video storytelling, content strategy, marketing, or related field.
Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing and social media initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro required.
Strong portfolio showcasing both strategic digital marketing work and high-quality video storytelling.
Experience with professional camera equipment, lighting, audio recording, and post-production workflows.
Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, audience engagement, and analytics.
Excellent storytelling, writing, project management, and communication skills.
Experience with digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and performance tracking.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM, CRM, and email marketing systems.
Ability to lead projects from concept to completion, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
Photography and visual storytelling experience.
Media-trained or comfortable representing the organization in interviews and video content.
Passion for empowering girls and advancing the Girl Scout mission.
