About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paid Media Associate located in the Greater Phoenix/Mesa area to support our paid search and social ad operations. This position is fully remote for day-to-day work, but requires occasional attendance at sponsored client and industry events in the Valley.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, launching, and managing paid search and social ad campaigns under direction.
• Perform ongoing keyword research, negative keyword management, and audience targeting refinements.
• Track daily performance metrics (clicks, conversions, CPA, ROAS) across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads.
• Help prepare concise monthly client performance reports with clear, actionable takeaways.
• Periodically represent Sophisticated Marketing Solutions at sponsored local events in Mesa and the broader Phoenix metro area.
• Support broader digital initiatives and collaborate on cross-platform media strategies.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience managing or assisting with paid media campaigns (agency experience or relevant internships preferred).
• Exposure to Google Ads Manager, Microsoft Advertising, or Meta Ads Manager.
• Basic understanding of GA4 and SEO concepts is a plus.
• Comfortable reviewing numbers, interpreting data trends, and suggesting optimizations.
• Clear verbal and written skills for internal team collaboration and event networking.
• Must live in the Phoenix/Mesa area to attend local sponsored events as needed.
