Digital Learning Coach / STEAM Teacher

About the role

This position is designed for a licensed professional who designs and delivers learning experiences for students in a grade level and/or content area. The role involves organizing and facilitating the learning process using evidence-based instructional practices and applicable technology.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers learning experiences aligned with the Colorado Academic Standards and the organized plan of instruction.
• Develops and implements lessons that connect to a variety of content areas and disciplines, emphasizing literacy and mathematical practices.
• Evaluates student progress, makes appropriate adjustments, and communicates student progress.
• Collaborates, reflects, and grows to improve learning opportunities for students.

Requirements

The incumbent must have a Bachelor's degree, meet subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications consistent with Colorado Department of Education and Academy District 20 requirements, and possess a valid Colorado teaching license.

Qualifications

Experience in creating and delivering effective instruction, establishing a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment, and fostering a predictable learning environment characterized by acceptable student behavior and efficient use of time.

Skills

Adapting to changing technologies, communicating effectively verbally and in writing, creating, accessing, inputting, retrieving, and manipulating information in various software systems, managing simultaneous demands and setting clear priorities, managing materials and supplies, modeling appropriate conduct, managing student behavior, and integrating and utilizing appropriate available technology to engage students in authentic learning experiences.
