What You Need To Know About The Job
- Create innovative design solutions including graphics and/or environments for key brand visual assets.
- Responsible for the layout, design, and production activities to produce quality complex graphic-design artwork.
- Create presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Work in collaboration with project team members to ensure client expectations and engagement requirements are met.
- Communicate with vendors and external consultants.
- Create innovative and thoughtful design solutions to complex brand and communications problems.
- Actively gain complex knowledge of current trends, color, technology, and other related design influences.
- Use knowledge and research to create innovative solutions.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities)
Develop complex creative concepts and designs for marketing collateral, digital and social advertising for external and internal audiences, generating support for our mission through blood donations. This includes being fully proficient with direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing tactics, such as, email, banner ads, posters/flyers, direct mail, digital invitations, e-books, interactive brochures, and newsletters.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum Qualifications)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Superior analytical, conceptual and design abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work on a team.
Pay Information
The starting annual salary range for this position is $70K - $75K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.
