Responsibilities

  • Affix forensic collections of computers, mobile devices, servers, and cloud-based data sources.
  • Perform onsite and remote forensic imaging using sound preservation practices.
  • Maintain detailed chain of custody records and evidence documentation.
  • Photograph, label, inventory, and securely track evidence throughout engagements.
  • Support forensic data processing, keyword searching, artifact analysis, and deleted data recovery.
  • Prepare reports, declarations, and other documentation that clearly explain technical findings.
  • Maintain forensic equipment and oversee secure evidence storage.
  • Record billable time and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working with technology and learning advanced forensic techniques.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, litigation support, or evidence handling.
  • Experience with forensic imaging or electronic evidence preservation.
  • Knowledge of Relativity, litigation holds, or ESI workflows.
  • Familiarity with scripting, SQL, PowerShell, command line tools, or imaging utilities.
  • Understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Interest in obtaining industry certifications such as EnCE, CCE, or GCFA.
