About the role
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Enterprise Sr. Data Architect, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base, TN.
Responsibilities
- Data Governance – Help develop an AEDC data governance governing board responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures for managing data privacy, security, quality, and compliance.
- Data Architecture – Design and implement data architecture that enables efficient and effective data management.
- Data-driven Innovation – Find new ways to use data to create new opportunities. Ensure the organization’s data assets are managed, leveraged, and protected to drive business value that aligns with the customer’s Chief Data Officer.
- Work with the Digital Enterprise Manager, stakeholders, and other personnel as necessary to plan and execute Digital Modernization initiatives based on the developed strategic plan.
- Technical Advisor for the DE group reporting to the Digital Enterprise Manager. Liaison between customer’s Chief Data Officer and DE group.
- Develop and implement a data strategy with roadmap focused on the following areas: Data Management – Oversee the collection, storage, integration, and analysis of data across the organization. Data Analytics – Insight to make data-driven decisions. Cybersecurity – Work with the BNH cybersecurity team to ensure these initiatives are implemented with a secure cyber foundation.
- Facilitate and provide inputs and approvals as necessary on business definitions, data quality, data assets, and any changes within their domain.
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure communication and value attainment. Galvanize stakeholders for change management.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, STEAM, or other related field with experience in developing Data Platforms, and a minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a data-related position.
- Or M.S. or Ph.D degree in Computer Science, or another related field with experience in developing Data Platforms, and a minimum of 4 years’ progressive experience in a data-related position.
Qualifications
- Current United States citizenship required.
Skills
- Strong and proven experience leading and executing an Enterprise Data Strategy, building On-Prem or Cloud based Enterprise Data Platforms and/or Business Intelligence initiative(s).
- Strong data, AI / data science and technological knowledge, covering recent topics such as (data governance, data domains, AI models and techniques, digital platform, cloud services, API integrations, microservices, DevSecOps, engineering, data security/privacy, and analytics).
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, or another related field.
- Strong change management leadership; influencing skills with suppliers and customers.
- Experience in large-scale, multi-year transformation and capability building efforts.
- Analytical ability to develop and implement new concepts and tools.

- $113,000 - $185,000 / year
