Digital Engineering Consultant_(PLM Implementation) Manager
About the Role
As a Digital Engineering Consultant (PLM Implementation) Manager, you will specialize in optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness within our Operations Consulting practice. You will work closely with clients to analyze product development lifecycles, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to enhance speed to market, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards, while motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will provide guidance on implementing lean manufacturing principles, optimizing supply chain integration, and leveraging digital technologies, taking ownership of projects from planning to execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions to optimize product development processes
- Analyze product development lifecycles to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for enhancing speed to market
- Develop operational strategies to streamline processes and improve productivity for clients
- Guide teams in the application of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain integration
- Leverage digital technologies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs
- Coach team members to leverage their strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations
- Conduct feasibility studies and market trend analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address conflicts and engage in critical conversations
- Uphold professional and technical standards, including compliance with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
Qualifications
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science/Sustainability, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Science
- Demonstrated proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Experience supporting or leading end-to-end PLM system implementations
- Experience configuring and deploying Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill solutions
- Experience integrating PLM platforms with engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills for product development
- Ability to embrace emerging technologies to drive innovation in manufacturing
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with a focus on quality and timelines
- Leadership experience with a focus on coaching and development
Pay
The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
