Digital Designer (Contract/Temporary) - D&D

What You'll Do: Collaborate with both the D&D studio team and D&D Beyond digital team to ensure visual consistency and innovation across platformsBuild captivating graphic design elements, style guides, and layout formats that uphold D&D's iconic aesthetic while optimizing for digital experiences across both owned IP and 3P partnership projectsPartner with D&D Beyond's Content Specialists and UI/UX team to inform design decisions and provide creative direction aligned with the D&D brandDevelop design style guides and systems that can flexibly adapt between print and digital formatsBuild and maintain technical documentation for asset specifications, file organization, and workflow processes in collaboration with D&D productionCollaborate with engineering teams to optimize asset delivery and implementationServe as a design resource for asset optimization and delivery questions What You'll Bring: 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with shown expertise in both print and digital designFamiliarity with Dungeons & Dragons and fantasy art directionStrong portfolio showcasing versatile design work across digital and print mediumsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant digital design toolsSolid knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and user experience (UX) principlesUnderstanding of technical requirements for digital asset optimization and deliveryExperience crafting and maintaining technical documentationExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teamsStrong understanding of responsive design and digital asset optimizationExperience working on 3p licensed products and navigating brand adherence for partner IP Nice to Have: Experience in gaming, entertainment, or publishing industriesPrevious work involving print-to-digital adaptationExperience with version control systems for design assetsKnowledge of build pipelines and asset management systemsUnderstanding of accessibility standards in digital design Employment Details: Please note that this is a temporary assignment through an external staffing agency.
