Digital Designer
The following is a fictional example of a digital design project I worked on:
- Intended Audience: Communicators, marketers, and HR professionals
- Tools Used: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, AI-powered tools like Lovable
Project Title: Ragan Communications Annual Report Design
For the Ragan Communications Annual Report, my team and I were tasked with creating a visually stunning and user-friendly report that would showcase our achievements and insights from the past year. The report was designed to be accessible online and in print, catering to both digital-first and print-first audiences.
To begin, I created wireframes and prototypes in Figma to ensure the layout was intuitive and responsive across different devices. Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I developed high-fidelity mockups of key sections such as the table of contents, main body, and executive summary. These were then refined in Adobe InDesign for final print production.
For the digital version, I utilized AI-powered tools to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the design process. Lovable was used to generate custom illustrations and infographics, saving time and ensuring consistency throughout the report. Canva was also leveraged for creating engaging social media graphics and email newsletters.
The final product included a mix of static and interactive elements, such as clickable links, hover effects, and embedded videos. The report was optimized for SEO and featured a seamless navigation system, making it easy for readers to explore the content.
This project required a deep understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and digital best practices. It also demanded a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging content that resonated with our target audience.
