Digital Design Engineer

About the role

Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for defining and realizing Digital functions on WIFI MAC IP, Subsystem or IC level based on required specifications. Design, verify, validate, chip bring-up, issue investigation/debug/support. Accountable for designing according to specifications, IEEE standard, quality and performance needs. Participate in problem solving for Digital and system domain of the device. Author the design-specific documentation for internal and external use.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

Position requires knowledge gained via completion of a graduate-level course, internship or related occupation involving:

• Programming in C/C++ or Python
• Verilog

Pay

The base salary range for this position in California is $166,200 to $228,500 annually. Individual total compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs.

This position offers a base salary of $156,853 per year, along with competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.
