Description
Location: DeLand, St. Augustine, Bunnell, or Daytona Beach
- Certified Electronic Transcriber (CET) certification with AAERT required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of secretarial/clerical experience.
- Successfully completed additional education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities
- Work with digital audio recording systems to cover court proceedings.
- Record and monitor assigned court proceedings, making annotations as necessary.
- File and maintain documents and recording media in proper order.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report malfunctions promptly.
- Transcribe court events accurately and in a timely manner as needed.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with court personnel, the Clerk of the Court, State Attorney, Public Defender, and other state agencies and the public.
- Report directly to the Court Reporting Manager/Digital Court Reporting Supervisor.
- Travel to courthouses throughout the circuit for work (mileage reimbursable).
Requirements

Travel
Some travel to courthouses throughout the circuit is required (mileage reimbursable at the state rate as available).
Headquarters
Headquarters are subject to change based on the needs of the Court.
