Digital Controllership Senior Controllership

Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assess current-state controllership processes, identify gaps, and define target-state opportunities
- Develop transformation roadmaps and solution hypotheses across people, process, technology, and governance
- Apply accounting, regulatory, and compliance requirements to finance transformation initiatives
- Design improvements across finance data, cost transparency, financial close and consolidation, and reporting processes
- Manage day-to-day client delivery, support engagement planning, and contribute to proposals and recruiting efforts
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, financial planning and analysis, or cost accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Risk Management, or Economics
- One or more of the following: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Cost Accountant (CCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or progress toward one of these credentials
- Experience with automation tools, including Alteryx workflows or Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or Accounting preferred
- Experience with internal controls or Sarbanes-Oxley compliance preferred
- Experience using or administering enterprise resource planning (ERP) finance and reporting platforms, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, or JD Edwards preferred
- Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, requirements definition, financial modeling, or value mapping preferred

Pay
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,200 to $229,100.
