About the role

The Digital Content Developer is responsible for creating and deploying content for all digital marketing channels and social media sites for the Shelter and AmShield brands. The primary goal of this position is to produce engaging content supporting the corporate brands and the agent distribution channel.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy content for digital marketing channels and social media sites
• Collaborate with the brand protection and response team
• Develop marketing materials/messaging in a highly regulated industry

Requirements

• Exceptional writing, storytelling, copy editing and proofreading skills
• Graphic development capabilities
• Ability to collaborate with team members, maintain a self-starting nature and a positive attitude
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or equivalent work experience
• Experience with video production is beneficial
• Proven ability to prioritize a fast-paced workload while meeting deadlines with accuracy and minimum supervision
• Experience with Adobe products including InDesign and Photoshop is desired
• Knowledge of content management systems, internet monitoring tools, Google Analytics and project management software is beneficial

Qualifications

• Background in content marketing, digital marketing or social media is preferred
