Digital Channel Analyst

About the role

The Digital Channel Lead Analyst will lead and execute Citi's existing marketing strategies to drive customer engagement. This role focuses on marketing execution within Citi’s Citibank Online and Mobile App post-login marketing placements, supporting strategies across Citi Retail Bank, Cards, and Mortgage—including Lending, Spend, and Checking. The role ensures flawless deployment of marketing audiences and creative experiences to existing customers, leveraging strong partnerships across cross-functional teams such as IT, Decision Management, Marketing, Risk, Legal, and Compliance. The position involves delivering personalized, relevant, and timely communications through smarter targeting powered by Citi’s data infrastructure, real-time offer decisioning engine, and technical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and leadership for audience and creative workstreams to deliver digital marketing programs across Acquisitions, Personal Banking, and Wealth Management, driving increased product and digital engagement while delivering revenue.
• Ensure delivery of relevant creative messaging within the platform and leverage real-time data to enhance marketing strategies, including testing opportunities to expand digital ecosystem marketing.
• Partner to generate accurate audiences and work with leading audience management tools (e.g., PEGA) and third-party partners to build comprehensive strategies.
• Aid in reviewing campaign specifications and perform data and code (SAS-like) validations to ensure audience selection meets business requirements.
• Develop resources and documentation to help marketers execute campaigns efficiently while adhering to Citi compliance and controls standards (e.g., MCRA, CBORC).
• Collaborate with technical platform teams (PEGA and Aprimo) to ensure seamless campaign execution through agile scrum teams, eliminating hurdles that impact execution and revenue while driving process improvements.
• Support internal and external audits and walk-throughs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements for related activities.
• Manage various requests while balancing capacity across delivery teams supporting digital marketing at Citi.
• Assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for Citi’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and escalating control issues transparently.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry.
• Digital experience, preferably within Pega, is a plus.
• Attention to detail, advanced project management skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving and a sense of ownership.
• Solid communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/University degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $107,120.00 - $160,680.00. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
