About the role

Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is seeking a licensed professional Dietitian to join their Dietary department. This role involves providing medical nutrition therapy, assessing dietary needs, creating nutrition plans based on health needs as directed by doctors, and providing consultation on healthier lifestyles.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze dietary needs
• Create nutrition and diet plans based on assessed health needs
• Provide consultation to clients on leading healthier lifestyles
• Prevent/manage health issues related to diet
• Participate in health improvement clinics

Requirements

• Licensure as a Dietitian
• Knowledge of dietetics and nutrition principles
• Ability to complete nutritional assessments and prepare special diets

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor
• Experience in a trauma-informed and recovery-based environment

Skills

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics
• Ability to assess dietary needs and create tailored nutrition plans
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations
• Experience in health improvement clinics
