Dietitian
Job Responsibilities
- Counsels individuals and groups on nutrition
- Develops and implements nutrition intervention plans
- Conducts patient nutrition assessments
- Performs rounding to enhance patient satisfaction
- Evaluates patient progress towards goals
- Follows up with patients as needed
- Ensures compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards
- Documents nutrition care plans accurately
- Maintains clinical productivity standards
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with accredited or approved course work in nutrition and dietetics
- Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, and credentials
About the Role
The Consulting Dietitian provides nutrition care to patients on an as-needed basis, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and all documentation is complete and accurate. They also establish and maintain effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care.
