Dietary Technician PRN

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Dietary Technician, you will act as an ambassador and support the mission of our hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will include:

• Assisting patients with menu selections in compliance with therapeutic diets
• Clerical responsibilities including filing, keeping records of forms, menus and other office supplies used in clinical area
• Ensuring proper sanitation of all dishes, flatware, trays, pots and pans, utensils
• Communicating with a variety of personnel and healthcare providers

Qualifications

• Team-orientated
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and able to provide exceptional customer service
• Able to read and speak English
• Comfortable working with email, electronic records, telephone systems, and various computer programs
• Safe Serve Certification preferred
• Previous Food service experience preferred
• Experience and understanding of therapeutic diets
