Dietary Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team full-time. As the Supervisor of Food Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service training classes that provide instructions on 'how to do the job,' ensuring a well-educated Food Services Department.
• Coordinate food services and activities with other related departments (e.g., Nursing, Environmental, Activity, and Social Services).
• Provide written and oral reports/recommendations to the Dietitian and/or Administrator as necessary concerning the operation of the Food Services Department.
• Process diet changes and new diets as received from nursing services.

Requirements

• 6 months of experience in a dietary position.
• Requires knowledge of special diets.

Qualifications

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Strong communication skills.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
