About the role
We are looking for a Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, guide dietary staff, and ensure safe, high-quality meal service for our residents. This position plays an important role in supporting resident health, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule dietary staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Monitor food preparation and service for quality, safety, and compliance
- Assist in menu planning and special dietary accommodations
- Conduct daily kitchen inspections and maintain sanitation standards
- Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to meet resident needs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal dietary regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and dietary guidelines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required
