Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays promptly to designated rooms and times.
• Assist in post‑meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions and use cookware safely.
• Friendly demeanor with good communication skills.
• Physical ability to keep up with a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
