Dietary Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and knowledgeable leader to oversee our dietary department and ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals every day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Train, mentor, and supervise dietary team members
• Collaborate with nursing staff, administration, and dietitians
• Maintain accurate documentation, audits, and quality assurance standards
• Support menu planning and special dietary needs of residents
• Foster a clean, safe, and resident-focused environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare dietary management role is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dietary Manager in an SNF or healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to multitask and manage a team effectively
• ServSafe certification (preferred or required - insert facility preference)
