Dietary Director

Duties

• Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
• Cook and serve meals according to established schedules
• Ensure compliance with all dietary guidelines, regulations, and safety standards
• Manage inventory and order food and supplies
• Train and supervise dietary staff members
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records of dietary services
• Schedule cooks to fill shifts as needed for position

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of nutrition guidelines and dietary requirements
• Proficiency in using software for managing food service operations
• Experience in menu planning, cooking, and catering
• Excellent interviewing, leadership, and hospitality management skills
• Culinary background or certification is a plus
