Dietary Director

About the role

Vasona Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Dietary Director to lead our culinary and nutritional services team. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, and design nutritious, appealing menus that enhance our residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food service operations, including meal preparation, presentation, and delivery.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor dietary and kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure resident dietary plans meet specific nutritional needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal healthcare and sanitation regulations.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and dietary department budgeting.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of dietary management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership, budget management, communication, and knowledge of therapeutic diets.

Pay

$90,000–$115,000 per year (depending on experience)
