Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Durango, Colorado Full-Time | Dietary Services Are you a passionate food service professional who takes pride in quality, leadership, and creating a positive dining experience for others? Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dietary Director to lead our dietary department and help ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a welcoming and enjoyable environment. In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily dietary operations, support and develop your team, maintain regulatory and sanitation standards, and work closely with other departments to ensure our residents' nutritional needs and preferences are being met. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, service, and presentationEnsure meals and dietary services meet the individual nutritional needs of our residentsLead, supervise, and support dietary staff while promoting teamwork and exceptional serviceMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environmentEnsure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, food safety requirements, and infection prevention standardsManage food and supply inventory while helping maintain appropriate department budgetsDevelop and maintain effective dietary policies and proceduresCollaborate with nursing, social services, activities, and other departments to support comprehensive resident careMonitor resident satisfaction and respond to dietary concerns, preferences, and feedbackParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve dietary servicesTrain and mentor dietary team members to promote consistency, quality, and professionalismHelp create a dining experience that is nutritious, enjoyable, and centered around our residents What We're Looking For We're looking for a leader who is: Experienced in food service, dietary services, or a similar leadership roleOrganized and able to manage multiple prioritiesKnowledgeable about food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirementsA strong communicator and team leaderCompassionate and resident-focusedDetail-oriented and committed to qualityComfortable working collaboratively with nursing and other departmentsPassionate about creating a positive dining experience for residentsAble to lead by example and foster a positive team environment Why Join Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center?
