DIETARY COOK PART TIME FOR HOSPITAL
About the role
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Dietary Cook to perform assigned duties under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager in a Hospital setting. This position may possibly become Full Time in the future.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications prudent to all diets.
- Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required.
- Assists with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests.
- Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered.
- Communicates with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.
Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Qualifications
- Desirable additional languages.
