About the role
Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Cook/Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional culinary services to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in accordance with established menus and diet orders
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation for special events and functions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Assist with food purchasing, inventory management, and ordering
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless service and quality dining experiences
Requirements
- Current Food Handler certification
- Experience in a long-term care or senior living setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
