Dietary Cook and Aide

Morning Cook Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food quality, safety, and proper portion control
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Follow all sanitation and food safety regulations

Afternoon Dietary Aide/Server Duties

• Assist with meal service to residents
• Deliver trays and ensure residents receive the correct meals
• Provide friendly, courteous service during mealtimes
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and dining room setup
• Help maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred
• Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliable, team-oriented, and resident-focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
