About the role
Join Richwood Nursing & Rehab as a Full Time Dietary Aide. Located in Oldham County, near LaGrange, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Assist in dietary department functions including preparation of meal trays, dishwashing, and other assigned tasks as directed by the Cook and/or Dietary Supervisor.
- Set up meal trays, strip down returned trays, and start washing dishes.
- Assist with serving different meals, check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine, and operate the dishwasher.
- Prepare nourishments and snacks, sweep and mop kitchen, carry out trash and garbage, and put groceries away in a safe, orderly, and clean manner.
- Clean work surfaces and refrigerators, sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
- Participate in the orientation and on-going training of dietary staff.
- Work cooperatively and harmoniously with personnel in all departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read technical procedures and recipes.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Skills
- Food service routine learning ability.
- Basic kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
$15.00 USD per hour.
